No. ReCatch uses a fixed price; there is no bidding. Allocation follows first come, first served.

For a successful ReCatch, currently a fixed share of 15 €. For a general Redomain monetization, currently 50 % profit share is provided – two separate situations, see proceeds and share.

No. There is no reservation and no reservation guarantee. Whoever completes the purchase first gets the domain – a domain may therefore already be taken.

Yes. Purchase, payment and domain management take place exclusively through a user account on DomainCatcher.com.

No. The handover to Redomain is irrevocable. Once the process starts, the domain no longer belongs to the previous holder.

As a rule, yes – you get it from your current provider. If the domain is already in the DomainCatcher portfolio, the release in domain management is sufficient; for .de domains, the auth code can be entered directly in the Redomain process.

No. A share only arises if proceeds are actually achieved. There is no guarantee of sale and no guarantee of payout.

If a Redomain domain is neither generally monetized nor acquired via ReCatch, it can ultimately drop as usual. In that case, no proceeds and no share arise; in any case, the domain no longer belongs to the previous holder.

No. Your ownership ends when the Redomain process starts. Only the claim to a possible share of proceeds remains.
