ReCatch costs
The current ReCatch price is 25 euros net, including 3 months of registration fees. Depending on country, tax status, domain extension, holding period and later use, further costs may arise. The current price list in your DomainCatcher account is authoritative.
Purchase price is not the same as total cost
The fixed price covers the takeover – not what comes afterwards. Budget realistically for:
- VAT: Depending on country and tax status, VAT is added to the net price. Whether and at what rate depends on your individual case – a blanket gross price would be misleading.
- Ongoing domain fees: After the included 3 months, regular renewal costs apply, which differ by TLD.
- Checking costs: Backlink tools, archive research and, where applicable, a trademark check cost time or money – see checking backlinks and trademark check.
- Project costs: Hosting, content, design and maintenance if you want to use the domain actively.
- Possible marketplace or transfer costs: If you later sell or transfer the domain, fees may apply depending on the platform.
