What is ReCatch?
ReCatch enables the direct acquisition of selected domains from the Redomain process on the final day before the drop. There is no auction; allocation follows the first-come-first-served principle via DomainCatcher.com. The fixed price is currently 25 € net, including 3 months of registration fees.

Which domains are offered?
ReCatch is currently only available for domains that come from the Redomain process: the previous holder deliberately handed over the domain for monetization, it was not renewed and is passing through the Redemption Grace Period (RGP). Not every RGP domain is therefore a ReCatch domain – the ReCatch list is a curated subset.
When, and why before the drop?
On the final day of the RGP – immediately before the domain would be permanently deleted and become publicly available – it is offered via ReCatch. The acquisition therefore takes place before the public drop: you are not competing with drop catchers registering at the second of release, but take over the domain directly from the ongoing process.
Is there an auction?
No. ReCatch is not an auction – it uses a fixed price. There is no bidding and no outbidding.
What does first come, first served mean?
Whoever completes the purchase first gets the domain. That also means: a domain may already have been acquired by another user by the time you open it. There is no reservation guarantee – a mention on deinrecatch.de is not a reservation. Only the current status on DomainCatcher.com is binding.
Price and share
The current starting price is 25 € net, including 3 months of registration fees. For a successful ReCatch, the previous domain holder currently receives a share of 15 €. The ReCatch costs page explains which further costs you as a buyer may face.
Requirements and purchase
The purchase takes place exclusively via a user account on DomainCatcher.com. That is where you find the ReCatch list (usually published on the day before the drop, at around 06:00 CET), complete the payment and manage the domain after the takeover. deinrecatch.de does not carry out any transactions and has no ReCatch list of its own.
What happens after the purchase?
After a successful purchase, the domain is taken over via DomainCatcher and sits in your portfolio there. Then check domain status, DNS, HTTPS and indexing – the "right after the purchase" items are in the ReCatch checklist.
Even with a low fixed price, checking remains your job: you should verify a domain's history, backlinks and trademark rights before acquiring it. Use the local domain check and the guide evaluating a ReCatch domain.
