Go through this checklist completely before submitting a domain to Redomain – because afterwards there is no going back. All ticks stay local in your browser; a print view is available.

• Domain really no longer needed: not even for redirects, tests or "maybe someday"
• Email accounts deactivated: no active mailboxes, logins or recovery addresses tied to the domain
• Website backed up: complete backup of files and databases
• Data exported: statistics, customer data and documents backed up locally
• Contracts checked: no ongoing contracts, licenses or obligations tied to the domain
• Customers informed: business partners and users know the new address or the project's end
• Redirects checked: incoming and outgoing redirects documented and resolved
• Trademarks checked: no own trademark rights that you are giving up with the domain
• Subdomains checked: no forgotten services, APIs or mail servers on subdomains
• Auth code available: requested from the current provider (or release possible in the DomainCatcher account)
• Irrevocability understood: once the process starts, the domain no longer belongs to you
• Possible share of proceeds understood: currently 50 % for general monetization or 15 € for ReCatch – see details
• No guarantee of sale understood: without monetization there is no share
