How ReCatch & Redomain interact

Author: Leo Kobes Published: Updated: Product information last verified: 22 July 2026

ReCatch and Redomain are two sides of the same cycle: Redomain takes in domains from holders who no longer need them – ReCatch passes exactly these domains on to new holders on the final day before the drop.

If a domain is sold during the monetization attempts, the cycle ends earlier. If nobody acquires it via ReCatch either, it can then drop as usual.

The previous holder's perspective

Seller path: review the portfolio, work through the checklist, submit irrevocably to Redomain, possible share on proceeds

The buyer's perspective

Buyer path: review the ReCatch list, check the domain, decide swiftly, acquisition at a fixed price on DomainCatcher

Both paths run via the same platform: DomainCatcher.com handles account, purchase, submission and payment.
